Are All Men Equal? The United States grow of Independance gave the kindred rights to everyone, right? It didnt leave out wo manpower, African-Americans, or anyone. Or did it? A man can not splice opposite man and a woman can not adopt another woman. That seems a little unfair. I was under the intuitive feeling that all men-and women-were created equal. Werent we, as a county, for under the idea of freedom, rights, and a say in how we live our lives? The settlement itself states, We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Persuit of Happiness. We cant do that. We cant manufacture marry who we want anymore! Why? It is because the bible and idol say its wrong? Because one is not a accredited man if he likes other men? Or perhaps its because the Separation of Church and State law doesnt apply to everyone. Honestly, what hap pened? It seems as if weve gotten a bit off track. Granted, it took some prison house term for African-Americans and women to sound treated right, but it still happened.
